Surgical Masks - Standardization

TRICARE Regions 9 and 10, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical treatment centers in California are in the process of standardizing Surgical Masks.



If your company currently holds or is in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) for Surgical Masks, your company is eligible to participate in the standardization process.

1. Does your company manufacture and/or distribute a full line of disposable hypoallergenic surgical masks? If so, please list the types of masks your company offers.

2. Does your company manufacture and/or distribute masks in pediatric sizes?

3. Are your products available through the Prime Vendor, Owens & Minor?

4. What is your DAPA Number?

5. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture or distribute your product?

6. Under what standards is your product manufactured?

7. Are your products latex free?

8. Are your products biodegradable?

9. Do your products meet filtration and protection standards as recommended by OSHA, NIOSH and AORN?

10. What levels of protection are available for your products? Does your company of products available in 0.1- 0.3 filtration level?

11. Are your products designed to contain and filter droplets of microorganisms expelled from the mouth and nasopharynx during talking, sneezing, and coughing?
